Program Overview

Study Chinese in Tainan city, located in Taiwan. Immerse yourself in the authentic and vibrant local community with the help of intensive Chinese language courses and electives designed to provide an immersive language learning experience.

Located in southern Taiwan, Tainan, is one of the island’s oldest cities and historical capital. Originating as a Dutch trading post, and with a city landscape shaped by Japanese colonial government planners, Tainan is now a bustling hub of commerce and manufacturing. The food choices are limitless at the city’s famous night markets. It is also a center for Chinese arts and history, with more than a thousand cultural sites, which draw crowds during frequent festivals.
