Program Description:

Istituto Marangoni, Milan

SAI works in partnership with the Istituto Marangoni (IM), a premier fashion and design school, to offer unparalleled study abroad opportunities for fashion students.

At Marangoni, students’ creativity is nurtured and stimulated through coursework that pairs theory with practice and emphasizes passion and dedication. Students from around the world converge at Marangoni's Milan campus to be challenged and to realize their potential as designers. SAI offers both Master’s and undergraduate coursework at IM Milan, all focused on fashion expertise.

In addition to supporting students throughout their stay in Milan, SAI also coordinates a range of activities and excursions throughout the term, including a walking tour of the city, a visit to the Duomo rooftop, a wine tasting excursion, a visit to La Scala Opera House, a weekend excursion to Rome (semester only), and much more. SAI students in Milan experience the richness and history of Milan; from monuments dating to Roman times, to the city’s current status as the modern capital of Italian fashion.

SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa preparation, housing, student health insurance, transcripts, pre-departure, and on-site orientation & advising.
